Listeners will hear interesting facts about travel to Africa, and will be able to enter a sweepstakes featuring an African safari, by African Travel.
The lucky winners will fly on Ethiopian Airlines nonstop to Addis Ababa, the airline’s home base, and then on to South Africa for a visit to marvelous Cape Town and then on to a wild animal safari on a private game reserve.
Ethiopian Airlines partnered with Radio One, Majic 102.3 WMMJ – the top-rated Urban Adult Contemporary radio station in the Washington, D.C. market – to launch this radio promotion. The promotion comes on the heels of Ethiopian Airlines’ recent delivery of new Boeing 777 LR aircraft, which have the longest range of any commercial aircraft. The new aircraft save passengers nearly three hours in non-stop service from Washington Dulles International Airport to Africa to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. From Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa, Ethiopian Airlines provides connections to South Africa, Kenya and Tanzania, among many other destinations throughout Africa. Ethiopian Airlines has been serving the D.C. market for more than a decade and is celebrating the arrival of the new aircraft with special fares and vacation packages with tour operator partners such as African Travel.
African Travel, long known as one of the top U.S. tour operators to Africa, is the African expert. They feature escorted groups and individual trips to many countries throughout Africa, and are well known for their deluxe vacations. The sweepstakes prize-winners will stay in fabulous hotels and have access to private guides and sightseeing during the trip.
