Day 2
Depart Kampala in the early morning for a long journey towards the western part of Uganda. It is a full day scenic drive. On the way pass the Equator where photos may be taken and souvenirs purchased. Enjoy lunch in the calm town of Mbarara and proceed through the verdant countryside. Pass the traditional homesteads and enjoy the panoramic views of the surroundings. Upon arrival in Bwindi, check in to hotel and enjoy dinner. Engagi Lodge, Buhoma Lodge
Day 3
Today begins the highlight of the safari, meeting the gentle giants of Bwindi. Rangers will brief travelers on how to behave with the gorillas. Hikers will love the tracking in the beautiful ecosystem of the park. Be prepared to walk a long distance before encountering gorillas. Once the gorillas are found, observe them closely while they eat, play, and rest. This is a unique and unforgettable experience. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight. Engagi Lodge, Buhoma Lodge
Day 4

Day 1

Day 2
In the morning, we will depart the capital city and head west to Fort Portal, with lunch en route. Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon and is famous for the man tea plantations. From this lovely town, we will continue to Kibale National Park. In the evening you will join a forest walk and go in search of the bush babies, pottos and other nocturnal animals. Dinner and overnight at hotel. Day 3
Today the forest opens its doors for a sensational chimp tracking excursion. Kibale Forest is reputable of having the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. Enjoy a guided nature walk in the tropical rainforest in search of the wild chimpanzee, red-tailed monkey, black-and-white colobus monkey and many others. After a hearty lunch, you will be transferred to the Bigodi Swamp for another, totally different nature walk. The Bigodi Swamp is an initiative of the local community and is known for its rich diversity of birds and primates. Dinner and overnight at hotel. Day 4
After a delicious breakfast, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy lunch and relax at the hotel accommodations before taking off on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural channel between Lake Edward and Lake George. Thanks to the abundant birdlife that is sighted, and the elephants, buffaloes and hundreds of hippos that are cooling off at the shores, this cruise will definitely be one of the highlights of your safari. Day 5
The day beings early with a morning game drive to the mating ground of the Uganda Kobs. Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, and other wild animals in their natural habitat. Day 4
In the morning, visit the magnificent top of the Falls where you can marvel at the mighty Nile. Watch how the falls is being forced into a seven meter crevice to thunder 45 meters below in a series of cascades. After this spectacular scenery we continue to Budongo Forest Reserve for lunch. Day 5
Depart Murchison Falls and head towards Fort Portal. In the morning, we will depart the capital city and head west to Fort Portal, with lunch en route. Enjoy breakfast before heading over to explore the crater lakes. Discover the beauty of the numerous small lakes, surrounded by gentle hill and stunning views. After a hearty lunch, you will be transferred to Bigodi Village for a totally different walk. Accompanied by a guide who can tell you everything about the traditional customs and lifestyle of the inhabitants, you will follow the village path and visit s primary school, Catholic church, traditional homesteads, learn about the crops and listen to the story telling of Mzee (elderly man). This walk is an initiative of the inhabitants of Bigodi Village and the revenues are shared by the community. Dinner and overnight at hotel. Day 7

Day 12

Day 13
Today you will have a full day to relax and unwind at the origin of the Nile. From Kampala, you will be transferred to Jinja and visit the true source of the Nile, where the famous river starts its long journey through Africa. Stop by the spectacular Bujagali Falls. Those who wish to experience some adventure can decide to go rafting on the source of the Nile. Other optional activities include a quad bike safari along the shores of the Nile, bungee jumping or a jet boat tour. In the late afternoon, return to Kampala for overnight. Day 14
Enriched with an experience of a lifetime and unforgettable memories you will say goodbye to the Pearl of Africa today. Depending on your flight schedule, you can join your guide for a city tour and visit some interesting and historical sites. In time you will be transferred to Entebbe Airport for your return flight.
